Join coffee authority Donny Raus for a presentation on the basics of roasting coffee at home. His information packed talk will cover such topics as why people choose to home roast, different roasting systems, the process of roasting, equipment options for the home roaster, and so much more.
Donny Raus is the owner of Raus Coffee Company & FlavorPhil Coffee and is the current President of the Northeast Roasters Group. He lives in Connecticut.
Donny Raus has been active in the coffee community, in various capacities, for more than 7 years. Coffee education has always been his focus.
In 2007 he founded the Connecticut Coffee Society, where he educates all who want to learn about specialty coffee and in 2007 was named President of the Northeast Regional Roasters Group, where he currently resides, organizing educational retreats for coffee roasters.
In 2008 he started Raus Coffee Company and in 2009, FlavorPhil Coffee Company, to further educate consumers and to share with them his passion for coffee.

Korean Tea Ceremony has had a long and distinct history, deeply rooted in 2,000 years rich traditions and practices. Yet, even as interests in teas continue to enjoy a dynamic rebirth world over, Korean teas and tea culture have remained virtually unknown to those outside of Asia.
This session will focus on the steeping of early spring-plucked loose leaf sparrow?s tongue tea ?Jaksul Cha.? Join Tea Master Yoon Hee Kim, U.S. Director for the Tea Culture Association of Korea and founding director of the Korean Tea Culture Foundation, as she shares Korea\'s Way of Tea.
