StoryCorps/Hungarian File -
Lincoln Center MobileBooth
2009.05.20 - 14:35
05/18/2009 ? 05/23/2009
11 AM ? 7 PM
Have you ever wondered about the past experiences of your relatives, fascinating stories they have stored away throughout their lives? Or, perhaps you?ve wanted a chance to tell your own personal story? Help us to create the StoryCorps/Hungarian file through recorded interviews that the Hungarian Cultural Center, in partnership with StoryCorps, is collecting. Recordings in Hungarian or English.

These stories will contribute to one of StoryCorps\' main objectives: to create an archive of everyday American life which represents the widest diversity of participants. Each conversation is recorded on a free DC to take home, and archived at the Library of Congress. Selected interviews are broadcast weekly on NPR?s Morning Edition. Since StoryCorps? inception in 2003, more than 24,000 interviews have been recorded in over 100 towns and cities in all 50 states.
